TRAINING

TRAINING SCHEDULE:

** Please note the track will be closed for training ALL DAY on the following dates in August: August 14, 17, 19, 28
Aside from the above exceptions, the track is open for training every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8am - 12 noon. This schedule is effective August 3/10 and will remain so until further notice. Any exceptions to this schedule will be posted in the paragraph above.

QUALIFIERS:

Weather permitting, qualifiers will be staged every Monday from April 5 through October 25 at 4:00 p.m. Please note, there are no qualifiers scheduled for August 2 and August 16. The box closes at 10:00 a.m. on Fridays prior to qualifiers. To enter, please contact the Race Office at (519) 846-1106 or 846-1107. The first 36 entries are accepted.

Working together to nurture a passion for harness racing and grow the sport’s fan base

The winning owner(s) of each race for the 2010 season will receive an Ambassador Program package. This package will arrive by mail with your purse cheque and will be shipped to the address of the owner(s) listed with Standardbred Canada.

Grand River Raceway is investing in the Ambassador Program in an effort to nurture a passion for harness racing in newcomers that so many of us in the industry already possess. As a key player in the industry and now as an ambassador, racing participants offer the best possible endorsement that harness racing can ask for.

The Ambassador Program consists of a dining and entertainment incentive for groups of four or more.
